I have used another brand of tapered leaders for years and several of the other brand's fly lines. I decided to try Cortland's leaders to see if they're as good as Cortland fly lines*. With a 7.5' leader it's not as easy to compare as, say - fly lines. Cortland's leaders have functioned well and as designed.
* In terms of durability, Cortland's fly lines are vastly superior to the "other" brand.

These are my go to leaders. I recommend these to everyone who asks me. Just like all Cortland products these preform flawlessly while not breaking the bank.
Great leaders - they seem to be stronger than other brands of same rating according to the size of the logs I hooked.... & landed! A couple of good sized fish too!
