Stellar tippet

This tippet has held knots really well for me and straightens out perfectly. I use it for every inshore situation where you want your tippet to sink from tailing redfish and laid up gator trout to rolling tarpon in basins

Incredibly strong! Absolutely the best

I have been using Cortland fluorocarbon and been totally amazed at how strong it is. I know that you always set the hook down stream, unless it's a really big fish and you get excited and you lift it straight up and get tangled in a tree. I did that and thought my only answer was to break break the tippet and leave my fly in the tree. But the tippit was 5X Cortland fluorocarbon and it did not break. Instead. it was the main part of the leader, the 5X did NOT break! So now some days I get lazy and rather than change the 5X if I am going to fish a small streamer, I leave it on and catch big fish anyway. It is so worth the price! I have totally switched to Cortland FluoroCarbon. I also use the Cortland fluorocarbon when I jungle fish (40 lb test) and it's wonderful..

Great knot strength. Especially when tapering down.
Excellent abrasion resistance especially when angling those bruiser Florida snook. A bit of peace of mind…

XTR leader

Have used another brand for years and recently made the switch to XTR.14-20 # for lake Erie walleye and 25-50 for lake Ontario trout and Salmon. All have proved to be of excellent quality!

Great Leader

This leader material works great for dragging football head jigs over zebra muscles beds in Lake Ontario when targeting late season smallmouth stagging on their winter holding areas in 26- to 40-foot. It allows me to drag the jig through rocks & muscles without worrying about losing the jig. If you're looking for a though abrasion resistant leader this is the one.

Sets the bar

Hands down the best fluorocarbon leader material I have used to date. Knots seat like mono, and the durability is outstanding. From fishing articulated streamers out of a boat to dredging crab patterns thru sand for Striped Bass, haven’t had a better leader material. Cortland hit a homerun, thank you
