I purchased a spool of 40# for tying my own leaders to fend off Pike and Walleyes in Ontario. I highly recommend this product, great quality and performed above my expectations.
I’ve used several fluorocarbon lines to tie to braid and most of them had knot slippage and was the weakest point of my setup. I had given up on fluoro leaders and went to mono… I decided to give fluoro one more chance and purchased 8lb. Cortland Line Fluorocarbon. I instantly noticed that there was almost zero slippage at the braid to fluoro connection knot! After throwing a Ned rig all day, I ended up getting hung up three time causing me to break off. NOT one time did the connection knot fail! I’m hooked and will never use another fluorocarbon brand!
Cortland Fluorocarbon has amazing knot strength, very limited stretch, sensitive and the 8lb. is invisible in the water! I HIGHLY recommend this product.
Glassy, clear and strong. Abrasion is great and holds up very well.
I like your Fluorocarbon Leader Material. It's tough and hold up well around rocks and zebra mussels. It has a little memory but, after a couple cast, it straightens out nice.
This stuff is strong and can take a beating. The only leader on the skiff!!

It’s abrasion resistance is top notch and ties very well. Also casts well as mainline on a baitcaster so the versatility is definitely there.

Fluorocarbon is so much better than mono, I don't think I'll ever have a use for mono anymore.

I make all of my own leaders out of this and couldn’t be happier. Cortland’s flouro blends have great abrasion resistance, and know up super tight!
