Fact: dirt gets in drift boats. The folks I guide love having these pads to maximize their lines capability!

Simple, easy and effective.

Excellent convenient lubricated line cleaning pads.

Your modern trout floating and clear camo intermediate fly lines are also excellant.

I use em' all the time.

Honestly I used to think that cleaning fly lines was just for people who didn't fish very much and had to kill time at home. Now, I realize that was dumb. I mostly fish intermediate lines on the great lakes and rivers. The plastic-y material will stop shooting well pretty quickly. A line stretch and running the line thru these pads putting it back on the reel has made a real improvement in everyday use.

DRY

THE PADS WORK GREAT. HOWEVER, THE TOP TWO OR THREE PADS WERE COMPLETLY DRY AND WERE OF NO USE AT ALL. THE OTHERS WERE LUBRICATED, BUT I THINK THEY MAY HAVE BEEN PARTIALY DRY. VERY DISAPPOINTED.

Great for on the go…

I always try to keep several of these in my dry box so I can clean when I am done fishing and short on time.

Good stuff

I have used Cortland's Fly Line Cleaner Lubricant for over 20 years. I like the convenience of the half-dollar-sized pads and slim container. Our warm-water streams here in Kentucky often have a little haze on the water (dust, lots of pollen, etc) so after every trip I run the fished parts of the line and leader through these easy to use pads. Keeps the lines casting like new.

Convenient!

I keep one in my pack at all times! Never know when your line will need a quick clean, especially on extended trips. This stuff is fantastic, and makes the line feel almost like new!
