I started using them 6 months ago and still on the first one. I use an 8# mono indicator to tippet. Have used sizes up to 1x and have no problem.

I'd never used tippet rings before, but I'm now a fan. I was rapidly burning through leaders before using them. They definitely help and don't noticeably impact casting.

Cheaper tippet rings tend to have some sharp edges and the knot breaks off. Cortland's tippet rings are consistent and don't have this issue.

Definitely a must for me. I utilize tippet rings on most of my trout leader rigs. Butt section of my leader down to tippet ring then add my tippet section. This makes changing your tippet quick and easy.

One of the few places to have 3mm tippet rings.

I have tried different tippet rings and these are by far the best no burs that cut line, strong and take a beating and preform like new.

As competitor on the USA Womens Worlds Fly Fishing Team I trust nothing else when on the water.

These are going to be great for saltwater
