Cortland’s Fast Intermediate features our new hang markers at 14ft & 24ft for fishing the “hang”. An aggressive density compensated taper design allows flies to achieve proper depths. The 110ft overall line length gives you the option to cast long distances.

Fast intermediate

I think Cortland have made some excellent lines for lake fishing in this series. The 5/6 line balances my 10ft 6 WT rod perfectly, the line is easy to cast & I really like the hang markers. I use this line mostly for washing line setup - typically 2 fly rig with a booby on the point. Just a side note the line has a lot different feel than a DI3 line , this casts/feels like you a casting a floating line vs. a heavier sinking line like a DI3.
