I was turned on to the Cortland Ultra Premium Flouro Tippit two years ago and it is now my only choice for tippit material. Their advertising is spot on, "it clears debris jams and straightens hooks!" My only complaint / wish is that Cortland did a better job with mating their tippit spools. They often don't stay together and do not spin freely as some other brands.
Without a doubt the best tippet on the market!

These is the best Fluoro I have used. The strength in the smaller diameters is a must for big trout on small flies on the San Juan!!

You will just be amazed at how strong this fluorocarbon is. You will break other parts of your leader, which have a stronger strength test, before you can break this fluorocarbon. I just absolutely love it and won't use anything else. It's really worth the money to get this material.

Fished with the Ultra Fluoro 7x today. Caught plenty of fish. Love the 2.9lb test. I can fish with a smaller diamiter line and have the same test as 6x. I catch a lot of fish with my 7x.
