Líneas de mosca de la serie clásica

Classic Series Fly Lines

TRIED AND TRUE, THESE LINES ARE BUILT TO LAST

Ever since the origination of Cortland Lines in 1915, we have sought to bring anglers around the world a line that not only performs at the highest level, but keeps performing day after day. The Classic Series Fly Lines are just that. Our most time-tested and continually developed line meant for the angler who adventures out and answers the call no matter the time or place when their fishing buddy calls. If that’s you, then the Classic Series Fly Lines are made for you!

The Importance of Having a Reliable Fly Line

In 1915 Cortland Line began manufacturing the first “tapered” fly lines. Then in 1953 Cortland introduced the 333 fly line series, and in 1962 the 444 series. Our fly lines are still manufactured and hand inspected in Cortland, New York with the latest advancements in fly line technology. Styled after our fly line boxes of the 1920’s-30’s, the Classic Series pays respect to our history. We all know the importance of having the right line for our trip and over the last 100 years we’ve been expanding and re-engineering the fishing world lines as we know it. So before you launch for your next trip, go by your local fly shop or order direct to your home one of our Saltwater Specialty Series Lines.
