When stealthy presentations are necessary, choose the Tropic Plus Ghost Tip. Our Tropic Plus Ghost Tip 15 features a 15 ft. clear intermediate tip with a sink rate of 1.5-2 inches per second. We designed this line with an overly aggressive head featuring a short 18 ft. body that will deliver your fly with power. The short 3 ft. front taper makes turning over large or weighted patterns easy. The 6 ft. back taper helps load this line quickly with minimal false casting and makes it extremely shootable.
Built on a monofilament core, our Ghost Tip 15 features our signature tropic plus coating for withstanding the hottest temperatures while still remaining slick, supple and fast shooting.
Ghost Tip 15 is finished in a clear and aqua color that blends in with bright tropic environments.

Our Tropic Plus Ghost Tip 15 is built for tropic environments and will perform best in temperatures above 70 degrees (F). Our Tropic PVC coating is designed to remain hard, slick and supple in the hottest conditions.
The taper design for our Ghost Tip 15 line was built to excel in quick shots with minimal false casts. The compact body and shorter rear taper transfers more energy into your cast for quickly shooting your line. The short front taper turns over any variety of weighted or non-weighted flies. This line is built in true line size so your rod is never overweighted when carrying a lot of line.
This line is finished in a clear and aqua blue color for ultimate stealth out on the flats.
Cleaning your fly line is very important especially when fishing saltwater. Simply pull line off your reel into a clean bucket or tub of freshwater. Put roughly 1oz or more of Cortland’s Line Cleaner solution onto a clean rag or towel. Firmly squeeze the towel with Pro Line Cleaner around the line and slowly pull line through the towel. You should be able to see dirt or discolored streaks on the towel when finished.
