Camo Tip 7 Breakdown

The Camo Tip 7 was designed to be the most versatile stillwater fly line. Fish your flies in the surface film, in the upper water column or pull streamers over structure.

The Camo Tip 7 features a 20 ft. body paired with a short 4 ft. rear taper allowing for precise loop control and accuracy. The 7 ft. front taper effortlessly turns over nymphs and small streamers. This line features our signature Shooting Technology for a slick, quick shooting finish.

This line is built in true line size so your rod never feels overloaded when casting maximum distance. The clear camo tip is extremely stealthy and will help you fool the smartest fish. This line features dual welded loops for convenient rigging.

SPECIES: Trout / Bass / Grayling

Welded loops make rigging fast, easy and reliable. Cortland loops are strong, secure and durable.

ST coating delivers a reduced-friction performance with a glass-smooth finish and remains a key element in line slickness over its life span.

Ideal use in 30-50 degree (F) temperatures.

Ideal use in 50 - 70 degree (F) temperatures.

Cleaning your fly line is very important especially when fishing saltwater. Simply pull line off your reel into a clean bucket or tub of freshwater. Put roughly 1oz or more of Cortland’s Line Cleaner solution onto a clean rag or towel. Firmly squeeze the towel with Pro Line Cleaner around the line and slowly pull line through the towel. You should be able to see dirt or discolored streaks on the towel when finished.

Great Line

The Camo Tip 7 is a great casting line and easy to make long casts effortlessly. The camo tip puts the fly precisely where I was hoping in the 2-5 foot range
