Cleaning your fly line is very important especially when fishing saltwater. Simply pull line off your reel into a clean bucket or tub of freshwater. Put roughly 1oz or more of Cortland’s Line Cleaner solution onto a clean rag or towel. Firmly squeeze the towel with Pro Line Cleaner around the line and slowly pull line through the towel. You should be able to see dirt or discolored streaks on the towel when finished.

Great Line for still waters and salt water estuaries!

I have Cortland clear camo lines on numerous rods of various weights. I have used these lines to catch numerous trout, steelhead and salmon. They're great when fishing depths of four to six feet. Fly weight and retrieving speed will effect depth.

Photos are a couple salmon caught last fall with a clear camo line loaded on a ten weight rod.

Super elite

Got this line (7wt) for stillwater bass and I love it. Casts like a floating line and lands real sneaky, while still having enough heft to throw all my bigger flies.

Also it looks pretty sweet, and I like the idea of reducing my line’s profile above all the fish I cast over like a clown :)

great line

I have always relied on the Clear Camo Intermediate line on lakes and love the way it casts so beautifully.

I have caught a lot of great trout on this line.

I really miss the Cortland Classic Whisper fly line, there has never ever been a line that could even come close to this line where a gentle presentation is required in a match-the-hatch situation for large spooky selective trout. I absolutely loved and miss that line. Please re-introduce that line once again.

Thanks guys.

Stealthy Success

Great product. Performed well on my first trip with new 7wt when casting and swinging streamers for smallmouth. Really liked the stealthy camo color pattern.

The line was wonderful only one problem is I can feel a small Nick about 20 feet in Has not bothered the line just feel it clicked through the guides I’ve been hooked into king salmon chinook salmon and had them run 200 yards of backing the line has performed very well

Also catching large northern pike 36 inches the line was great
